landscape report printing problem

Scott

I have reports in a database that are formatted for printing in landscape
orientation. In Access97, I never had a problem. Now the db is in Access
2002. Everything else seems to be working fine except report printing.
Sometimes, but not all of the time, a landscape report will print in portrait
orientation. This access db is being used by multiple users. Some users
experience the printing problem whenever they print a report, and other users
never have the problem. This makes me think its not a function of the access
db, but of MSAccess settings, or printer settings, or user profile settings,
or windows xp settings. I have not been able to find anything that will
affect or correct this printing problem. I was able to get the mdb version
of the app to work by calling a command to set orientation to landscape
before the print, but once we create an mde file for the users, this command
no longer works since the report needs to be in design mode to reset this
property, and in an mde file, a report cannot go into design mode.
Thanks ahead of time for any help! - Scott
