I installed Japanese global IME and I lost my language bar. I removed the
program and reinstalled it but it is still hidden.

And have you tried going through the Windows Control Panel, Regional and
Language Settings/Languages/Details/Language Bar?

If this doesn't help, try directing your question to the
word.international.features newsgroup and be sure to include the version of
Word and of Windows.
