language not available in the OCR list !!

Hello there I got the office 2003 proofing tools as I am using both the
Arabic and Turkish languages frequently in my documents and in scanning

Now I found out that despite that the Turkish language is available in the
OCR list and the document scanning and editing is fine that the Arabic
language is not available despite I installed it "all the features" from the
Proofing tools CD ,every time I perform the OCR on any arabic document ,an
error message appears that this is an Arabic ocr "Saudi Arabia" !!

I am using now Office 2007

can anyone please help me ??

Hi Zeinobia,

While the Office 2003 Proofing tools, if installed before Office 2007, *may* work with Office 2007, they have not been formally
tested by Microsoft to do so, and may not do so flawlessly. The Office 2007 Proofing tools are not yet available, so you're sort of
in an 'as is' condition for the time being from that aspect.

Are you following the procedure in the article here when using MS Office Document Scanning and Imaging apps?

Be sure you have installed far east language support for Windows and that you have enabled Arabic in Start=>Programs=>Microsoft
Office, Tools. Depending on how the Arabic is presented you may also need a 3rd party package, and one that uses ICR rather than
OCR for characters that are better with scripted and handwritten appearing characters.

You may also want to check with the folks in the Word 'International Features' group by using the link below.
