Language specific formula conversion.

I put a lot of effort to prepare an automated Excel spreadsheet (Office XP
Polish language edition) recalculating some experimental data. I and my
friend have used it successfully for a year here in Poland on the Polish
version of Office XP. Now my friend has gone back home to the States and
reported that he cannot use the spreadsheet anymore because of some weird
errors. As suspected the problem turned out to be the formulae of the
spreadsheet that use Polish names for the Excel functions. How can I convert
the Polish spreadsheet formulae into English?
