large e-mail clogging the system

I stupidly created a large e-mail & tried to send it before I realized how
large it was. I tried to delete it but the system won't allow me to get rid
of it -- it says that it is being transmitted & therefore no deletion is
allowed & the system can't send it. It has been over 2 weeks. Now whenever I
am in outlook the system continually tries to send it which clogs up the
system. How can I get rid of this message without hurting other messages.

Click File and check Work Offline. Close and then restart Outlook. Delete
the message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.
