Large email stuck in outbox

I have tried everything, including working offline and setting up new .pst
file. I cannot delete the file nor the old pst file. Any emails now sent get
hung up behind the stuck email and do not send. What can I do??

As I recall, Outlook will create a new PST file if it cannot find the
old one.

Exit Outlook. Rename and move the old .pst file. Restart Outlook. It
should remark that the message store (.pst file) cannot be found. Let
it create a new one. Then use File -> Open to open your old .pst file
to drag items to your new .pst file, or use File -> Import and Export to
import them a folder at a time or however far up each branch you select.
Just don't include anything from the Outbox.
