Large File Size Upload to PWA Problem

J

JDG

Hi:

I have been trying to get files > 20 mb uploaded and saved to a
projects workspace. I have tried confirguing PWA and sharepoint
using
the info in these articles:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925083

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/winsharepointadmin/HA011607881033.aspx

What happens is that from the document upload screen in a projects
workspace the progress bar appears to show that the file is being
saved. But after the upload process is done and you go back to the
document tab on the projects workspace the file isn't there. Even
after doing a refresh it isn't there.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

JDG,

Is this with PS2003 or 2007? Also I'm wondering whether this happens with
all the files you try to uploaed, even smaller ones? Have you tried the
Explorer View (Drag & Drop) instead of the Upload from the Standard view?

Let us know...

We are using P2003.

I get the same behavior using explorer drag and drop.

We can upload files up to about 22 mb in size.

Some more details: When I upload using the normal upload process I
get the following error message by clicking on the "Error" icon down
in the lower left had side of the status bar of IE:

Line: 487
Char: 3
Error: Permission denied
Code: 0
URL: http//xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

When I upload using the explorer drag and drop I get this error
message:

"An error occured coping some or all of the selected files".

I recently found a default setting of 20MB for maximum upload file size and
changed it. Unfortunately I can't remember where it was - maybe in
Sharepoint??
