Large margin at page bottom is not correctable

When I view pages in print layout in Word 2002, the margins look even all
around -- just like I want them. But when the pages print out there is a
noticably larger margin on the right and at the bottom.

I've made sure that the printer's default is A4, and I've selected A4 as the
proper size paper for the document. I've turned off letter/A4 resizing. I've
reveiwed the size and placement of the footnote box.

What else do you think it might be?

You possibly have some tracked changes or comments in the document and the
Options setting to 'show balloons'. Word makes space for the balloons by
expanding the margins.

Thanks. I'll check to insure that the "show balloons" option is off, but I
don't think that's it. This happens with new documents, where there are no
comments, as well as existing ones. Unless, what you're saying is, when the
option is checked it leaves room for comments regardless of whether there are
any.
