Large PST file on network share <-- problems.

In my organisation a lot of users use a pst file to archive their mail.
Currently we have a lot of problem with pst files. I think te real problem
is the file server on which the pst files are stored.

Does any of you people know that there are known problems with large (500 Mb
+) pst files on a network share?

In addition, if you have Exchange, avoid PSTs.

Only easily done if the Exchange administrator is reasonable in how large
mailboxes are allowed to be and you don't need to archive anything.
