Last 2 pages of a Word Doc numbered the same.

I have a word document that has page numbers in the footer. There are 14 pages, but the last two pages are both numbered 13. I cannot figure out how to fix this. I have tried taking the numbers all out saving the doc closing word and reopening and re-numbering but that didn't work. I tried putting in a page break - thought it might think the last 2 pages were actually one. No luck. Could someone help?

This implies that there is a section break between the two page 13s, and
numbering is restarted in (at least) the second one. In the Page Number
Format dialog, choose "Continue from previous section."
