last accessed list

is it possible to extend a "last accessed files" list on "file" menu, it is
now 9 items long?
i would like to have something like "history" in internet explorer. well not
exactly so much, but more than 9 for sure.

Not on the File menu.

But in newer versions of excel (xl2k??, xl2002 for sure), there's a History
button on the file|open dialog that shows lots of recently used files.

just thinking, since it seems that [in xp/2002] works through "recent"
folder, maybe it may work in win9x too, when looking into "recent"?

I think it has more to do with the version of excel--not the version of windows.

I use win98 and xl2002 and have lots of stuff in that recent folder. And I can
get to in the File|Open dialog.
