Last opened time?

Hi,

Does anybody know how to find out the last time an office document was
opened?

On Windows XP I can check the properties of file, but it only shows
"Created", "Modified", and "Accessed" time, none of which is what I'm
looking for.

I want to know the last time somebody opened the document.

Any suggstions would be much appreciated.

I purchased a new computer & it has a trial version of Office Standard 2003.
To convert to a licensed version do you purchase the same upgrade at a retail
store as the upgrade for an older version of office or is there 2 types of
upgrade, one for convertion & one for upgrade?

Your trial version is just a trial version. If you own an older version of
Office, you may qualify to use an Upgrade of Office 2003. See
http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/howtobuy/compare.mspx for
specifics -- click the edition of Office you're interested in and then check
the Upgrade Eligibility part of the resulting page.

Yes, you can purchase the upgrade at a retail store. However, if you do not
own a previous version of Office that qualifies you to use an Upgrade
version, then you need to purchase the full, non-upgrade version of Office.
Your trial installation is irrelevant.

I would suggest uninstalling the trial version before you install your
purchased version of Office (whether it's an upgrade or full non-upgrade).
Many people have run into error messages and other issues when trying to do
the conversion from trial installation to purchased installation. It can be
a real hassle, and so it's easier to just uninstall the trial version first.

Does that answer your question?
