Hey all -

Using Project Server, What is the best way to find out
when time was posted to any task within a project (i.e
when the last activity of a project took place)? I'd
like to avoid opening every project and looking through
each task.

For instance, I am a manager with multiple project
managers reporting to me. I know the individual project
names and I would like to use Project Server just to see
what and when time was posted to the server for each of
these projects.

Any help?

Thanks!

Why don't you go to the Updates page in PWA and click View history of past
task changes in the sidepane on the left? The data grid will show you the
history of task updates by project, update type, and resource. I would
recommend that you change the grouping on this page to only be Group By
Project and Then By From. On the View Options tab, I would recommend you
select the Show schedule work option as well. Would this information be
helpful to you? Let us know.

Hi Dale -

Thanks for the post reply.

In the past I was using the Task Usage view in MS
Project. I like your suggestion better as you don't
need to open each project individually - rather you can
look at multiple projects.

I'll pass the reply along to the masses hereat Carhartt!

Thanks again!
