Latest Version of Jet?

I was lead to believe DAO.DBEngine.Version returns back the version of Jet.
On my machine it returns 3.6.

I have msjet40.dll in my Windows\system32 folder. It is dated 8/11/04. The
file version is 4.0.9511.0.

Am I running the latest version for Access 2003 running under XP.

That's the same version I've got.

Version 3.6 is correct: while it's Jet 4.0, it's DAO 3.6.
