Latest version of vea

So what is the lastest version of VEA? I have 10.0.2705
on my help about screen. There are people telling me that
there is a later version. But this web site says there
isn't a new version coming out until Whidbey. Thanks!

The latest version of VEA is VEA 2003 which is bundled with Visio 2002 (The
2003 refers to the add-ons not the version of Visio). Since then Visio 2003
has been released. To run VEA 2003 you need Visio 2002 not Visio 2003. So
yes there is a new version of Visio, but not a new version of VEA.

VEA is an add-on to Visio. The distribution of the add-on contains a copy of
Visio.
The latest version of VEA (VEA 2003) does not contain the latest version of
Visio (Visio 2003)
When VEA 2003 was released, Visio 2002 was the latest version.
The 2003 in VEA 2003 has nothing to do with the version of Visio that is
included.
