Launch another app from a link in Web page

I'm trying to launch another programs Help file (AutoCAD) from a link in my
web page. Can this be done without gettting the "file download" or "Macro
warning" dialogs?

No. Web pages can NEVER execute another program without direct action
by the end-user, for security reasons. No browser will allow such an
action.

Thanks Paul, I knew it was a security issue. Just wasn't sure if there was a
way around it. Guess in the long run you wouldn't want to cripple security.
Then it aint security
