Launch MS Access from Project and open a report

I would like to create a link in my Project file that will launch MS Access
and open a particular report in that lives in the mdb file. Is that possible?

Hi Marty,

You can hyperlink to an Access DB file (Insert >Hyperlink) , but, AFAIK, I
don't believe you can call a specific object in the DB (other than the
switchboard or other Form or Page ) You could save the report as a data
access page and then set the Startup option for the database to open that
page.

Try adding #ReportName after the .mdb path in the hyperlink.

Thanks Rod... that was my first idea, but it didn't work. Do you know if
there might be a VBA solution. I've launched Excel from Access before thru
VBA, but have never written VBA in MS Project.

Thanks Julie, but what they want is to open a particular report in Access
based on the task they are sitting on(or linking from) in Project. I'll let
you know if I come up with a solution.
