Launch Outlook2000 Off_Line

At work I use OL2000 and at home OLExpress 6.0. Much of what I want to
send to myself at work gets "blocked" by the company's exchange
server.

I have a VPN to work but am not "normally connected" to the VPN.

I would like to be able to Launch OL2000 to compose while not on the
VPN ( I'd hope for a "command line switch" to accomplish this,but
don't see one ); and "hold" there until it is convient to connect and
send it.

Any hints will be appreciated.
