We are successfully using Exchange 2000 for sending and receiving of
messages (so IMAP and SMTP are working). OWA works from a Mac browser.
The problem I have is in trying to search Active Directory via LDAP to
access the GAL. It returns LDAP Error 10001. I've not been able to locate
any information on this error. We are not using SSL and have not changed
the default ports. I configured the Exchange server as a secondary CA
server and the PDC is the primary CA. On the PC side I've successfully
obtained certificates from both servers. Also, I've successfully searched
AD from Outlook Express. Are there any special settings on the "Directory"
tab for the user account in Entourage??
I'm pretty stumped. A solution or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
