LDAP Server Error 17768

I am attempting to configure Entourage to use an AD domain controller that
is a global catalog to be the LDAP server so that I can access my GAL. What
I am using is the fqdn of the dc i.e. (dc01.domain.loc) and no search base,
but no matter what I change (SSL, require auth) I get LDAP Server Error
-17768. Am I missing something simple here?

Have you played with the SSL or port settings? In some environments, SSL
is require but in others it's not. Default port for searches is 3268.
