Leading Characters - dots

Harry Sampson

Hi,

I want to have a two column table. I want to write some text in the first
column. After the text, I would like to have leading characters or dots
that start from the end of the text and go till the beginning of the second
column. In the second column I will have more text. Is there an easy way
of put in the "dots" rather than hammering at the period key for a while?

You could almost think of this as a menu.

Steak..........................$29.95
Pie.................................$6.00

etc. How do you put in the ".........." easily?

Thank you.

Use a tab stop (Format>Tabs) with a dot leader for the tab. For the example
given, it should be a decimal tab that you use so that the numbers are
aligned on the decimal point.
