Leave a Copy of Message on Server in Outlook2000

Two locations both running WinXP Pro and Office 2000 with all SPs. Outlook
is set to leave a copy of messages on server for 10 days. When the machine
at the office location retrieves the email it cannot then be retrieved from
the home location (I don't know if it applies conversely as new email is
rarely received out of working hours). I have been advised that there is a
hotfix for this (KB885243) which actually does not appear apply to
Outlook2000 or indeed this problem.

Any help gratefully received.
