"Leave Black Parts Black" not available in 2 clr document

In Publisher 2002 I could create a 2 color document and then any images that
had black in them I could recolor and choose "Leave Black Parts Black" and
essentially end up with a two color image. This is not possible in Publisher
2007--the option is greyed (dimmed) out with no way to check the radio button.

Does anyone know how to get this functionality in Publisher 2007?

After you recolor the image, the two choices become active; not before. That is
the way it has always been.

I know. Even AFTER I RECOLOR THE IMAGE the "leave black parts black" option
is not available.

Any further thoughts?

It is for me, if the *Recolor whole picture* is ticked, *Leave black parts
black* cannot be clicked too. It is one or the other.

Both options are unvailable for me.

"Recolor whole picture" AND "Leave black parts black" are both dimmed out
and NOT clickable.

Is your document set up as a two color document, or simply as a RGB or CMYK
document?

Okay, that is the problem. I cannot recolor if I use the commercial printing
options. If I recolor it first then the Leave black... is available, it doesn't
change when I use the commercial settings. If I insert a new picture it will
take on the attributes of the recolored image.

I am not smart about pre-press. I probably shouldn't even try to help you.
