Left side of some emails not visible in Outlook 2007.

Messages received from particular senders are missing the left side of the
message. This cuts off part of the header information of To and From from
previous senders when that message has multiple responses. It seems to be
only the header information. The same message views correctly on Outlook
2003. When I forward a "cutoff" email, the viewer who had previously seen it
correctly will receive the cutoff view. Any help or suggestion is greatly
appreciated.

so the message looks like it was cut in half top to bottom? What format is
the message? If you double click to view, are they ok?

It is a HTML message. The Reading Pane is off so message is viewed by
opening in new window. Note that I have checked and the message views the
same regardless of Reading Pane position. One significant difference comes
to mind though in that I am currently using Office 2003 with Outlook 2007 -
may this be an error related to Word not being 2007?

More details to expand on original problem:

Sender was Outlook 2003 SP3 which carbon copied to 2 computers

Receiver #1 was Outlook 2003 SP3 which views normally.
Receiver #2 was Outlook 2007 SP1 which had 1 inch of left side of all
previous headers (from multiple earlier responses) cut off. If receiver #2
then sends this cut email to #1, it stays in the cut condition.

We use a Outlook Exchange Server, if I use a web viewer, the emails look
normal.

The questions is what setting may be causing Outlook to cut a portion of the
To, From, and Date header in the body of the email? This is increasingly odd
because their are several companies under a larger company. Each of the
smaller companies use the larger companies server. I am only noticing the
cut emails with one particular company for similar messages. The larger
company is now concerned because they may convert to Outlook 2007 but want to
ensure emails they receive and associates they deal with will not experience
this. I would like to find a solution and will be willing to try suggestions
or provide more detailed information upon request. Thanks again for helping.

It could be the mixed versions, but I doubt it. I'm thinking its something
with HTML and CSS formatting. Or virus scanning messing it up. Can you post
a screenshot so we can see exactly what you mean? if you need a place to
post, www.xsolive.com has an outlook screen shot library you can use.

I do not believe it is related to virus scanner because this problem does not
affect similar messages (By similar I mean sent from the same server with
body of message having the same format). To verify this, I found a message
that demonstrates this cropped effect on my computer but shows correctly in
the Outlook Exchange Web Viewer. I forwarded this message to myself with the
Virus scan enabled and disabled and it had no affect. I am confident in my
ability to test sugestions via this method however which will really help in
finding a solution.

I apologize for the necessity to white out certain information but I believe
the picture accurately displays how the original message if offset or copped
from view. I also do not believe this is related to the particular "View"
because when I forward the message - it retains the cropped effect. The
picture is titled CroppedHeaders under the Outlook Screen shots of the
XSOLive website you suggested. I also copied the link below:

Please let me know if you have any suggestions you would like me to try and
again thanks for the help.

Greg,

Did you find out any additional information about this issue. I'm seeing the
same thing in my environment as well, and I need to fix it if possible.

Unfortunately, I have not discovered anything and no microsoft agent has
replied since. I can reproduce this error so testing solutions should be
easy but I am out of ideas. I would like to know what version of Office you
are using and confirm that it is Outlook 2007 that you see this cropped
effect. Also, do you know if the affected emails are confined to pre-2007
senders? Now that someone else is affected maybe we can find the common
link. Until then, I am afraid to update the other computers in our office to
Outlook 2007. Thanks for any help.

FWIW, OWA uses a browser to render so it can (and often does) look
different in OWA.

Are all messages affected or just specific ones? Certain senders, all html
etc.
