Let me make a public calendar my default calendar

In a small business situation it would be good if everyone could make a public calendar their default calendar.

Did you ever figure it out? I need to make a public calendar my default

Can't be done at all. The default folders of any type will always have to be
in the mail store where you get your email delivered and never, ever in a
public folder.
