Let me try this another way: WORD doesn't point to it's normal template

When I hit "Ctrl-N" I don't get the template at "normal.dot" but something
else. Sounds to me as if the pointer has been displaced somehow. Anybody
know how to fix that?

Anybody know how to get the question before Microsoft experts?
