Let me use a 2003 interface when I hold down a special key combo.

Wow. This interface is radically different. I've been using the interactive
2003 to 2007 guide; and it helps....but I'm going to need it A LOT!!!

I recommend you: (1) allow me access to that guide with a key stroke or
icon; then (2) show me how to do it in 2007 (as you are doing now, but) then
ACTUALLY DO IT. Don't show show me how. Show me how, AND do it.

I don't like being fored into a new interface. I want to see it a dozen
times, or more, first.

So let me be productive while learning. Show me the new way - but let me
actually USE the old way until I'm comfortable.

Hi Jim,

Be sure to send your feedback directly to the Microsoft Office team by using the 2007 feedback tool from the link below.

You can also post the Office User Interface (UI) team through their blog (and find out more about how/why the ribbon is the way it
is, at http://blogs.msdn.com/jensenh
