letter spacing with left/right margins justified

When a Word document has right/left justification in
place, one or more lines sometimes are formed with odd
spacing within words. I do not like to run draft samples
and look for these and then have to make artificial
spaces in the lines to "square" it up. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi Ed,

What is "odd" about the spacing? Is it uneven? (The best
you can generally hope for with paragraph justification is
equal spacing between words on a line that must be stretched
because the first word of the next line is large.

If the spacing is uneven, you might have an *extra* space
between one or more of the word pairs on the line.

If the spacing is stretched (justified) on the *last* line
of a paragraph, it's likely because you have a linebreak
rather than a paragraph mark there -- which can happen for
any number of reasons, none of them sensible. Turn on your
codes (Ctrl+Shift+8) and see if you have a paragraph mark
or a bent arrow.
