Levels of group allowed in Reports

I have 5 tables with the following nesting:
Table 1
- Table 2
- Table 3
- Table 4
- Table 5

I need to make a report which has certain fields from all the tables.
When I added these fields, I grouped information as follows:

Table 1 Group1
Table 2 Group 2
Table 3 Group 3

When trying to create the grouping on Table 4, I cannot see the fields from
table 4 to group on. Right-clicking on a field from table 4 in the report,
'Group On' option is disabled.

I am not sure what is wrong? Is there a limit that I cannot nest more than 4
tables?

You can group up to 10 levels (if I recall correctly), however the Wizards
don't handle that many levels and they are limited on the number of fields
they can handle, etc. You can use the Wizard to set up the start of your
report and then modify the report source (if needed) to include additional
fields. Then you can add the additional grouping levels.

I am not using a wizard for designing. I am making the report in Report
Design from the scratch.
