Hi
I am trying to install Access 97 only on XP machine and am getting the
"Access can't start because
there is no licence for it on this machine" error. i have read all tech
articles, all discussions and KB etc. have tried:
1. reinstall
2. rename font
3. downloaded patch (cant detect any version of access)
4. MDAC 2.8 (cant install on XP)
5. setup.exe /y (tried with and without access installed)
6. registry permissions are OK (added "everyone" with full permission)
except CREATOR OWNER which will not change to full or read permissions
I have tried a regisrty repair and done evrything again and in different
orders etc etc. but still nothing works. Please can someone help with any
suggestions.
