Hello,

On one computer I have Windows98 and Windows XP. For both cases I need an
Office suite.

1. Can I install the same license of Office 2000 on both operating ( only
one can be used at a time) or do I have to have two license?

2. If I buy an Office 2003 suite license this can be installed on Windows XP
and through downgrade at Office 2000 ( for which I have a valid CD but not
the licence) for Windows 98 or I need two license ( one for XP, and one for
'98)

1) It depends who reponds as to the answer you get
ie one will say you need two licences for two installs another will say as
its on the same PC and only a single instance can be used at one time you
only need one.
Leave it to the lawyers to decide

2) Not sure I understand
Office2003 can be installed on winxp, you would need the win2k cd to install
on win98

However seems a bit odd that you need Office installed on both o/s on a
single PC
