License Activation for previous version of Word

I must use Word 2003 due to compatability issues with other custom
applications. Word 2003 is no longer available. Is there any way to Install
and Activate Word 2003 with a Word 2007 License Key. If Word 2003 is
available, I would need a reliable source throughout the rest of the year at
minimum.

The Installation codes are product specific. Activation is both hardware and software configuration specific.

You'll likely need to acquire and install separately Office 2003.

Thanks Bob, Aquiring Word 2003 or Office 2003 is the issue. It is no longer
available.

Amazon.com still has Office 2003 listed. If all you need is word and you
could make do with Word 2002, pick up a copy of Works Suite 2006. Definitely
a less expensive option.

Hi Mermilliod,

It is no longer available as a retail product from Microsoft (like last model's cars, MS stops making old ones when they roll out
the new one <g>), but there are a lot of retailers who still have ample supplies and if you have MS volume licensing with Software
Assurance you may be able to acquire and use it through that agreements 'downgrade' provisions.
