I purchased MS Office 2000 when the product came out. I
bought the full version at Comp USA ( computer store).
I've misplaced the "product key" for installation. I
bought a new computer. How can I obtain the product key
if I've misplaced it? Do I have to purchase another full
version again. Surely not.
Help, please.

You really didn't write it down anywhere. You should keep a book with a list
of all your serials.

There is a program that will get you your serial number. It's called
"Jellybean" or something like that. Check in google.

Good Luck.

Product Key should be on Jewel Case.
If you have proof of purchase MS will supply a new key.
Otherwise try borrowing some one elses product key for the same version of
Office
