If one has a license for Office (2003), is it possible to install some
apps
(such as Word and Excel) on one computer, and another app (such as
Powerpoint) onto another PC? Or is the Office package + license tied to a
single install?
Thanks
M
Office 2003 is licensed to be installed as a single produce, not some
applications on one computer and others on another computer. How many
installs varies depending on what you purchased. If you have Office 2003
installed, open any application and go to Help, About for a link to the End
User License Agreement {EULA}. For most retail purchased Office 2003, the
EULA allows installation on one desktop and one mobile device {such as
laptop} for use by the same person. The Student and Teacher edition can be
installed on several family computers {any type} for non-commercial use.
Pre-installed OEM version are tied to the computer they were first
installed.
You need to read the EULA. If you have not installed Office 2003, go to:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA102103671033.aspx?pid=CL100796341033
to read the EULA that applies.
