When purchasing licensing for Microsoft Exchange Server, the server product
and CALs, the CALs license your users to use Microsoft Outlook.

Q. Am I entitled to a copy of Outlook or Entourage when I order an Exchange
CAL?
A. Yes, customers can create and run one instance of Outlook Standard or
Entourage on each device for which they have licensed an Exchange Device CAL,
or on a single device used by any user for which the customer has a User CAL.
The version must be contemporaneous with the release of the Exchange version
purchased.
For Volume Licensing customers, Outlook Standard and Entourage are available
in the Volume Licensing kit or downloadable off the Microsoft Volume
Licensing website. Non-Volume Licensing customers can find a copy of Outlook
Standard and Entourage in their media kit.
