[Emailing InfoPath Forms]

If I choose to send InfoPath forms in an email does the recipient need
infopath installed locally to fill out the form and submit?

Hi,

You can send form as body of the email. And user can fill the form in email
and he can reply to your mail.

but if you want to submit that form to any specific location then that user
needs Infopath in his machine to open and submit the form.

Other wise you can use Sharepoint form services to open the form in
sharepoint browser.
