limage l inks between power point and word .. ?

I have a large book type document done in word with image
links to slides in a powerpoint document..Is there any way
to break these links and retain the images ?

I am trying to send the WORD Doc. to my print shop but
they can not open it...i am assuming it is do to the link
to powerpoint on my pc

Edit>Links. Select all the links and click the 'Break Link' button.

Yep. It converts the linked objects/pictures to embedded objects/pictures.
