Limit the number of Recent files in Application Data Folder

Hi

I am looking for a way to limit the number of files that Windows stores in
the "\application data\office\recent" folder in a users profile.

We use roaming profiles with folder redirection. When the recent docs folder
starts to fill up, we've noticed a slow-down when typing in a new file name
when Saving As from, say, a word document.

There is a reg fix, maxrecentdocs, but this only applies to the Recent
Documents menu in the start menu...

Any other ideas?
