Limitation in report footer?

We use the report footer for including notes for quotes for our customers.

I've noticed that in some cases where the notes are fairly large, Access
cuts them off, often in the middle of a page. E.g. on the first page there
will be a number of lines in the detail section, then the notes will start,
and carry on thru page two, and approx. 1/3rd of the way on page 3. The data
is all there in the table (sql server), but it get's truncated in the report.

I'm wondering if there is a size or some other limitation. Changing the size
of the font to a bit smaller does seem to allow more text to show.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Tom,

From your descriptions, I undersstood that when some notes comes to be too
large, there will be some wastes on your report. Have I understood you? If
there is anything I misunderstood, please feel free to let me know:0

Based on my scope, Access has no such limitations. If you could send a
sample file to me, [email protected] (remove 'online', it's for
SPAM). I would love to reporduce it here and try to work it for you.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. If you have any questions or
concerns, don't hesitate to let me know. We are here to be of assistance!

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your input and email.

Please check whether it is truncated at 255. If so, Access may have thought
the field as a text type. This may be a same scenario mentioned in the
document below

ACC2000: Formatted Memo Field Appears to Truncate Data After 255 Characters
