Limitation regarding number of objects displayed within a form

I created an Infopath form with Microsoft Office 2003 SP1, and when I want to
display more than about 1000 objects in this form, I get an error message
about a temporary xml file.
Is it a limitation of Microsoft Infopath 2003 SP 1 ?
