i want to know the limitation of MS Access Database file ... i heared it can't handle over 2 MB file size some other say not more than 50,000 records

The limitations are:

Access 97 and older: maximum size of MDB file is 1GB
Access 2000 and newer: maximum size of MDB file is 2GB

To view all of the specifications for your version of Access, click Help and
then enter the word: specifications in the Answer Wizard.
