Limitations in Outlook Journal

We just upgraded to Exchange Server 2007. Some of our employees are having trouble tracking entries in Outlook Journal. Can we track files from a fileserver? Also, are there any limitations with EX 2007 and older Office versions?

For some reason the powers that be at Microsoft decided to eliminate the
feature that allowed tracking documents that are on a server. They are not
talking about why they made this decision. I have complained multiple times,
but I have NEVER gotten a response. So much for improving productivity. :-(

If you want to complain about this feature no longer existing, use this
link. Maybe if enough people complain they will do something about it.
