Who knows the limited size of pst and how much messages can store?

Outlook 97 (SR2) thru Outlook 2002.

Max file size 2GB (don't push past 1.8 GB in Windows Explorer)
16,000 or 65,000 items per folder (need to enable large table support for
higher value)
16,000 or 65,000 folders per folder (need to enable large table support for
higher value)


Outlook 2003 Unicode PST (creates by default and is not backward compatible)
Max File Size: Software limit set to 20GB (depends more on how the drive is
partitioned. For example, FAT32 only allows for 4GB - a few bytes max files
size).
Unknown item/folder count

Outlook 2003 ANSI PST (called Outlook 97 through 2003 PST)
Same file size and item count limit as stated under Outlook 97/2002.
