Limited Users cannot open certain word docs - insufficient memory

Hi all

We have a problem with limited account users not being able to open certain
word documents.

The error says "insufficient memory" and yet the workstations all have at
least 256MB and the file opens fine when logged in as admin.

There doesn't seem to be anything special with these documents... they're
mostly CV's or one page files with no macros or fancy stuff.

The machines have no problems with resources, there's plenty of memory
available, and none of the other suggestions from the knowledge base appear
to apply - it seems the sole reason is because the users are logged in to a
limited account.

Any help appreciated

This may have to do with the permissions limited users have. In order to
open a document in Word, you must have write permission to the document
drive or folder (and probably also to the Windows Temp folder) because Word
creates temporary files when it opens documents. For proper operation, Word
must also be able to copy, move, and delete files.
