Is there a way, either with rules or VB, to limit the amount of characters in
forwarded emails? Here's my problem, I want to set up a rule that forwards my
email to my mobile phone as an SMS message, but I don't want it to forward
anything over 160 characters, which is the limit of a single SMS message. I
can get it to forward whole messages, but longer messages are delivered in
multiple SMS messages which is quite annoying. I would be absolutely pleased
if I could create a rule that simply sends the from and subject line as a SMS
message.
I'm resorting to this option because I haven't found a useful way of
receiving instant email alerts on my PDA phone over multiple email addresses,
none of which are on an Exchange Server.
