line bump

I've Visio 2003, drawing crossing lines on my page but, they are not showing
the bump. I reviewed the layout/routing but, can't seem to figure out how to
turn on the line bump. I want to ensure that my lines bump when they cross.
Additionally, I tried selecting the line and changing it's
behavior....heeeeellllppp!

Also make sure you are drawing with the Connector Tool and not the Line
Tool. Only connectors can have line jumps.

Curious. Humping cross-over lines haven't been used in International
Electrotechnical Commission standards nor Australian Standards for decades -
when I was a student (I'm 66) we were told they were no longer used.

I sometimes see schematics drawn with the old-fashioned humpy loopy
cross-overs and wondered where they come from.

Hi,
You're doing everything right as long as you have Show Line Jumps selected from the Design Tab > Layout Group > Connectors; and you have arc selected from Shift-F5 > Layout and Routing. The only caveat is that this feature only works when you use Connectors (it will not work with ordinary lines).
I hope this helps?
