Line changes width

I have a word document that I am using with a mail merge. There is a 1.5" line I created on page 1. It shows on the screen and prints ok on pg. 1. BUT if you spool all the pages to print at one time pg 1 is ok but on the rest the line changes to hairline.

It will take forever to re-do 25+ letters one by one. Any ideas???
