Yes, but very few people do so - useful as it is for error messages.

I don't have Access here to check, but I'm sure this will work:
10 sub blah()
20 msgbox "blat"

and so on.

Yes it is. Check out the freeware MZTools, which can add and remove
them quite easily (for 2000 and later versions).
