Line Spacing, Atten Susan

J

John White

Hi Susan!
About 3 or 4 months ago using Word 2003 I began having problem with my
spacing between lines going from single to double space. I am typing on a
Dell lap top and I believe you told me, the problem might be that in typing
I was accidentally hitting control +0. You said if I hit control +0 again
it should correct the problem. I have misfiled or lost the print out I did
of your instructions so I am not sure if I am remembering correctly what you
told me to do.
In any event the problem has reoccurred and typing control + 0 does not
correct it. Help!
Thank you,
John White

Try Ctrl + O instead of Ctrl + 0.

Otherwise, look at Format > Paragraph.

No, Ctrl+O brings up the Open dialog. Ctrl+0 adds or removes 12 points Space
Before.

You seem to have remembered this correctly. But the line spacing wouldn't be
double (since Space Before affects only space between paragraphs) unless
you're pressing Enter at the end of every line.

Oops. Usually I check these things. Sorry.
