lines in word

Hi Harry,

For the line style button on the drawing toolbar to be active
you'll need to have selected a line within the document. It's
a property button for changing that attribute of existing drawn
line shapes.

If you're working on a paragraph border you can use
Format=>Borders and Shadings or if you're in a table,
Table=>Table Properties=>[Borders and Shading]
=====
Why is the linestyles box greyed out and how do I fix
this.

Bob,
What I'm trying to do is put a diaganal line through a
price to show that it's crossed out. There must be
another way to do this.
Thanks for such a speedy response.

Would Strikethrough formatting suffice? If not, draw your line first, then
format it.
